What to do on a sunny Sunday in Vancouver ?
A day at the lake, Alouette Lake
On a sunny Sunday, we went to Allouette Lake with our friends
. Allouette Lake is located in the Fraser Valley near Vancouver, BC, only 13 km. (8.1 mi.) northeast of the town of Maple Ridge. It’s located within Golden Ears Provincial Park. The Allouette Lake area is gorgeous, with spectacular scenery of lakes, mountains.
It’s a nice place for outdoors activities such as waterskiing.
Once you get there, you just have to launch your boat, and then, find a nice spot to relax and chill out
. It was the first time in my life I’ve tried waterskiing
,
. Such a funny experience. I thought that the main difficulty would be to get on the ski and stay on the ski. Ahead of that, I encountered another difficulty that was to manage to get off my bump off the water. I keep trying…
I finally managed to put my skis, face the boat, and saw my friends looking at me. And only at that time I realized that I will be pulled behind the boat on skis… bit frightening thought. Then I tried buoying
,
and
.
Yannick has already waterskied
,
and did buoy too
.
Then we relax
and I drove the boat
.
